Ma gandeam ca si prim articol pentru acest blog, sa va scriu despre paleta mea de farduri favorita – Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Palette. Prima oara cand am vazut-o primul meu gand a fost “este perfecta pentru un machiaj de zi“. Apoi m-am gandit ca ar fi perfecta si pentru machiajul mireselor, avand in vedere ca majoritatea mireselor doresc in ziua cea mare un machiaj natural, dar care sa le evidentieze frumusetea. De asemenea mi-a placut foarte mult ca continea doar farduri mate, farduri ce sunt potrivite oricarui tip de ten.

La momentul respectiv paleta nu era disponibila la noi in tara, dar am avut norocul sa am o prietena ce mergea in State si am rugat-o sa o achizitioneze pentru mine (multumesc I :*). Cand am primit-o nu mai puteam sa o las din mana, eram usor depententa de ea.

Aceste farduri se estompeaza minunat, nu am mai intalnit o paleta care sa se estompeze/blenduiasca atat de bine. Pigmentii folositi in farduri sunt intensi si perfecti. Paleta este foarte bine pigmentata, iar de-a lungul zilei culorile nu isi reduc intensitatea. Rezista peste 8 ore fara sa se sterga din culoare sau sa se reduca intensitatea fardurilor.

La descrierea paletei iata ce ne spune site-ul oficial :

Aranjata cu un amestec perfect de tonuri neutre, calde si reci, paleta contine baza, contur si iluminare si farduri pentru definire.

Fiecare fard este mat, toate sunt macinate fin si foarte pigmentate pentru un raport calitate/pret bun si o estompare si mai buna. Va provocam sa gasiti o culoare ce nu va place!

Ce gasesti in aceasta paleta ?

Paleta contine 12 farduri mate, farduri ce sunt impartite in 3 categorii, un lucru bun pentru orice incepator. Avem tonuri neutre, reci si calde. Ai patru culori in fiecare categorie: una pentru iluminare (care este cea aflata deasupra trio-ului), una pentru pliul pleoapei, una pe care o poti intinde pe ochi deasupra liniei genelor, pana in pliu, si una pentru conturare mai intensa. Mai jos puteti vedea o poza cu denumirea fardurilor (scuze pentru zonele unde s-a sters descrierea, acolo este zona de unde prindeam paleta cu mana; cum am folosit-o zilnic, se mai duce din culoare).

Gasesc ca designul paletei este foarte cool. Este compacta si usor de calatorit cu ea. Am luat-o cu mine in vacante si la serviciu cand nu aveam timp sa ma machiez acasa. Nu ma pot plictisi de ea si gasesc ca fardurile sunt potrivite pentru orice culoare de ochi.

Culorile mele favorite sau categoria favorita este cea cu tonuri neutre. Ele se gasesc in partea stanga a paletei si se numesc :

• laetus,
• samael,
• solas,
• lucius.   

Folosesc Laetus pentru zona de sub sprancene, pentru iluminare; Samael in pliul pleoapei, iar Solas pentru coltul extern al ochiului (pentru a crea efectul de alungire a ochiului si de asemenea ca si linie de tus). Mai adaug si Lucius pentru coltul intern al ochiului.

Categoria de tonuri reci are urmatoarele farduri:

• Lazarus,
• Saleos,
• Shax,
• Liberatus.

Combin des Lazarus cu fardurile din categoria de tonuri neutre si mi se pare ca se blenduiesc foarte bine. Dati-mi voie sa va spun ca Shax este cel mai intens fard negru pe care l-am intalnit pana acum. Pentru incepatori/incepatoare va sfatuiesc sa  folositi acest fard cu atentie pentru a avea un machiaj perfect. Mai putin este mai mult pentru aceasta nuanta. Foarte des folosesc si Saleos si Shax ca si linie de tus.

Iubesc si categoria de farduri calde. In general sunt fana a fardurilor cu subton cald. Categoria aceasta are urmatoarele nuante :

• Ludwin,
• Succubus,
• Sytry,
• Latinus.

Folosesc frecvent si imi place foarte foarte mult Latinus, ca nuanta aplicata pe toata pleoapa, deasupra liniei genelor si pana in pliu. Aceasta nuanta are o formula parca mai satinata decat celelalte si este un bej cald minunat. La orice alt machiaj unde folosesc tonuri calde, incerc sa adaug si farduri din aceasta categorie. Cateodata adaug si Samael si Solas de la categoria de nuante neutre.

De curand Kat Von D a schimbat ambalajul pentru aceasta paleta si acum exista in carcasa noua, mai buna si mai tare decat cea de carton pe care o am eu. Totusi tineti minte ca formula fardurilor nu s-a schimbat odata cu ambalajul nou. Am verificat in Sephora Romania si pretul ei este de 203 lei, bani care sincer, consider ca sunt meritati, mai ales ca paleta are un termen de valabilitate excelent.

Dati-mi voie sa va spun ca formula acestor farduri este excelenta, si se estompeaza atat de bine! De asemenea am observat ca pigmentul fardurilor este intens si dupa 24 ore de purtat si nu se reduce intensitatea acestora. De obicei ca si baza foloseam primer de ochi de la Urban Decay, varianta “Original” sau corector sau fond de ten.

Cateodata o folosesc si pentru contouring, mai ales cand sunt in vacanta. Folosesc nuantele din categoria de tonuri neutre si amestec si cu Lazarus si categoria de tonuri reci.

Acesta este review-ul meu la aceasta paleta. V-o recomand cu drag si va doresc sa va bucurati de cat mai multe produse de machiaj. Acum chiar am pus ochii pe metal crush palette(si cam toate fardurile metalice) si sincera sa fiu acesta este unul din brandurile mele favorite, pe care il iubesc si as cumpara orice daca as avea bugetul suficient de mare 🙂  Voi ce vreti sa va cumparati de la ea si care sunt produsele ce le iubiti de la acest brand de machiaj?

My favorite makeup palette – Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Palette

As my first article I thought to write about my favorite makeup palette – Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Palette. The first time I set my eyes on it, my first thought was ” this is perfect for a everyday makeup look “. I also thought it would be perfect for bridal makeup, as most brides would like to look very natural, but enhanced on their big day.

At the time it was not available in my country, but I was lucky enough to have a friend going to the States and I kindly asked her to buy it for me. Once I received it I was hooked to it.

It has the best blendability I have ever encountered. The pigmentation is intense and perfect at the same time. These eyeshadows last more than 8 hours at the same pigmentation.

So for this palette you get 12 eyeshadows. They are divided in 3 categories and I find this to be helpful for every beginner: neutral, cool and warm tones. You get your highlighting color, your crease color, your “over the lid” color and your contour color. Below you can find the back of the palette with the names of the shades (so sorry for the faded zones, this was used and reused).

I find the design of the palette to be pretty cool. It is compact and easy to travel with. I have taken it with me in all my vacations so far, as I cannot seem to get bored of it. Also the eyeshades I find to be perfect for each eyecolor.

My favorite colors are the ones in neutral category, they are on the left side of the palette and they are named :

• laetus,
• samael,
• solas,
• lucius.  

I use Laetus for under the brow highlight, Samael for the crease, Solas for the outer corner (usually to allongate the eye, or as a winged liner) and Lucius for the inner corner highlight.

The cool tones category has the following shades :

• Lazarus,
• Saleos,
• Shax,
• Liberatus.

I often combine Lazarus with the neutral tones and they blend perfectly.  Please let me tell you that Shax is the most intense black eyeshadow I have encountered. For beginners I suggest using this one carefully in order to have a perfect makeup. Less is more for this shade. I use Saleos and Shax as a winged eyeliner quite often.

I also love the warm tones category. I am a warm tones sucker :)). This category has the following shades :

• Ludwin,
• Succubus,
• Sytry,
• Latinus.

I frequently use Latinus, as an over the lid color. It is a perfect warm beige and it is satiny. Usually when I do a warm tones makeup I often add these warm shades from this palette. Sometimes I add Samael and Solas from the neutral tones category.

Recently this palette got the packaging revamped, and it is no longer is a cardboard shell but in a more hard, improved shell. The eyeshadows did not get a different formulation.

Please let me tell you that the formula of these eyeshadows is amazing, some are buttery, but they blend so well and I find that the pigment does not fade throughout the day. I used this for 24 hours and it had the same intensity. I find it to work well with an eyeshadow primer, I often use Urban Decay original primer potion with it. It also works well with foundation or concealer applied as a base on the lid.

I sometimes use this palette for contouring when I go on vacation (saves space). I use the neutral tones and sometimes I add Lazarus from the cool tones.

This is my review for this palette. I highly recommend you to purchase it, and I wish for you to enjoy as many makeup products as possible. I am currently wanting to buy the metal crush palettes from her, cannot wait to purchase them.
